Does Sean Kim perform at events?

Yes! Sean performs at a variety of events including weddings, restaurants, private parties, corporate events, and other special occasions. Whether you’re looking for intimate background music or an engaging live performance, Sean can tailor his set to fit the atmosphere of your event.

Does Sean Kim perform and record custom songs?

Yes! Cellist & Composer Sean can create custom arrangements and recordings of requested songs. Because custom arrangements require time to prepare and produce, advance notice is recommended.

Does Sean Kim teach music & academics privately?

Yes, Cellist & Composer Sean Kim teaches cello, composition, music theory, and vocal lessons privately, both in person in NYC and online. He also coaches chamber music, orchestral ensembles, and group classes.

In addition to music instruction, he tutors students preparing for standardized examinations, including the SAT, SHSAT, and Dental Admission Test (DAT), on which he scored in the 99th percentile.

Prior to teaching music and mathematics at a private school in New York City, Sean was a dental student at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

Drawing on his interdisciplinary background in music, mathematics, dentistry, and education, Sean also advises students pursuing admission to Ivy League universities and dental schools.
